WHAT WE PRACTICE

MENTAL HEALTH CARE

Our licensed mental health professionals provide assessment and treatment services for a variety of mental health challenges.

The Lanier Practice offers telementalhealth services for children, adolescents, adults, and family systems.  Our clinicians work from a variety of theoretical orientations and specializations. We believe goodness-of-fit is really important and always ask about a client’s preferences when matching them with a therapist. We also offer marriage counseling, marriage intensives, and new-parent counseling and specialize in the provision of Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

Our practice is available for one-on-one and team-based professional coaching for individuals and organizational leaders. We listen carefully to each client's personal and professional goals so we can effectively match them with a coach.

We believe the right fit is important for an effective coaching relationship. Our coaches come from diverse professional backgrounds and utilize standardized and 360-degree assessment methodologies as needed.

WELL-BEING

The Lanier Practice has developed a comprehensive online Well-Being Inventory that gives individuals insight into over 35 different facets of well-being.

Our Well-Being Inventory is customized for your organizational context and is sensitive enough to detect concerns before they become problematic. After completing the inventory, the individual receives a comprehensive report that highlights areas of possible concern. They also receive a one-on-one follow up appointment with one of our Well-Being Consultants. The two then work together to determine next steps the individual wants to take. Our practice is also available to facilitate referrals for follow-up care if desired.

Our Well-Being Inventory is designed to be valuable to the individual and the organization. Data gathered from the Well-Being Inventory is aggregated into a report that gives executive leadership insight into well-being across the organization, while still maintaining anonymity and confidentiality for individuals. We provide organizations with in-depth reporting on areas like job satisfaction, burnout potential, perceived organizational support, turnover intention, and dozens of other important metrics. Organizations can use this data to enhance the work experience at an organizational level, while helping individuals at a personal level. It is this integrated model of organizational development and preventative mental health that makes our services innovative and effective.

CUSTOMIZED
PROGRAM DESIGN

Our practice is most proud of our skill in designing specialized personnel-oriented programming for organizations.

By working in collaboration with you, we aim to create programs that address the role individual health and well-being play in the achievement of your organization’s mission. Our customized programs enhance your organization’s existing personnel selection, training, and development practices.  Because we believe in viewing people wholistically, our programs work with individuals, couples, children, and family systems.

The Lanier Practice provides research and evaluation services that utilize quantitative and qualitative methodologies as needed.  We work collaboratively with you to design and implement research projects that help inform decisions, policies, and programs that impact individual well-being and organizational health.

SPEAKING, TRAINING,
& EDUCATION

We offer customizable training and education programs that focus on mental health, well-being, and marriage enrichment.

Our consultants are available to provide keynote and breakout sessions at conferences as well as single and multi-day seminars. We would be delighted to create a training program specifically for your organization or design a full retreat experience built around one of our training programs.

The Lanier Practice offers virtual and in-person Mental Health First Aid Certification. The certification, developed by The National Council for Mental Wellbeing, is a skills-based course that teaches participants how to help someone who is developing a mental health or substance-use problem and how to recognize and respond to someone experiencing a mental health crisis. The certification is good for 3 years and offered for adult and youth populations. The program aims to foster mental health literacy in communities and workplaces.
